PAPER SHORTAGE SOLVED

I have spent most of my day typing up pieces of my fifth book, all found in a six-by-nine pad I received as a gift on the first day of October in 2015; these are the first few pages recorded there:
Thursday, OCT 1 - They will bring our sacks soon; Maury is blaring on the TV. STEVEN has been taken to D-100, and CHARLES is going to receive some personal instruction, from Corporal Platt, on sink-scouring this afternoon. It's been close to 7 months now, and I've had no bail set; cock-eyed Willie can't/won't thwart the FED's plan for this political prisoner.

Two weeks of October have already passed, and I have not seen the first baseball game on our TV; the METS seem to have won their division. We were out-of-doors for about 15 minutes, one day this week, because they had a fire drill; Commander Brock had been here for this, I found out much later; Brother Wotz tried to give a description, so I'd remember seeing him. BlueJays & Rangers are tonight, on FOX(Astro's vs Royals); Saturday, it's CUBS vs METS in the NLCS. KC vs Toronto in Game 2 of ALCS(Royals took Game 1). ALCS:6-3 final gives KC a 2-game lead(Game 3 is MON @8PM).
   Tuesday, OCT 20 - 11-8, J's over KC.
Wednesday:5-2 METS in Game 3, for 3-game lead in NLCS.
Game One of the World Series will be played at 8 PM, Tuesday, OCT 27.

[seems to be proposing an alternative to Homo sapiens:Homo logeo; saying, instead of knowing[?]

There are copious notes in here, for a biography, by Jean Edward Smith(1990), about Lucius D. Clay. 'New Dealers' for wartime organization of an anti-Hull(Sec. o' State) 'cabinet:'Leo Crowly; economic 'warfare' - Elmer Davis; war 'information.'
Gen. Patton(3rd Army) became military governor in Bavaria; Clay's Deputy was Maj. General Clarence Adcock; also mentioned are General Walter Bedell Smith & General McNarney/Gen. Harold R. "Pinky" Bull; also, a Brigadier General Walter Muller in the Department for Military Government.
Setting up the interim government required many non-military 'organizers:Joe Dodge from Detroit National Bank; Dillon[?] & Reed[?]; Brig. Gen. Wm. "Bill" Draper, who eventually, was sent to MacArthur(in Japan). Before Lucius left D.C., he had set-up a 'recruiting' office @Pentagon, run by Prof. James K. Pollock(Michigan) - Stuttgart:Col. Wm. Dawson[?].
Prof. Herman Wells(Pres. Indiana U.), organized:(Fin.)Lew Douglas, who worked for Dodge in Detroit; Dr. Herman Dietrich was Agricultural Minister, w/Col. Hugh Hester as Ag. Advisor; Prof. Edward Litchfield(Univ. of Pittsburgh);Prof. Carl Friedrich(Harvard); Prof. Walter Dorn(@Columbia); Prof.(of CHEM) Roger Adams(Ill.).
Saving Kaiser Wilhelm Institute[?]; French Zone a 'rich' part of post-war Germany, that was 'milked' by its occupiers; JCS 1779[?]/fragebogen(questionnaire).
Selection of Minister/President over former German Provinces[?]; cities of Wurttemberg & Baden, became divided(w/French); others were combinations of formerly separate states:Hesse-Darmsstadt(Dr.Carl Geiler); Hesse-Nassau(Dr. Reinhold Maier); Dr. Hoegner sent to Bavaria.
From page 300:Lucius Clay on Nazi Generals:they had been 'imprisoned' in a camp, located in Bavaria, for "a good many months," before the military trials:"But the purpose of that, was to get them to write the histories of the war, from their viewpoint, which we thought was a great project, and I think it was."
From page 299:LDC on Doenitz trial:"I'm not too sure that, when we talk about that type & kind of use of submarines, and at the same time, we have laid down nuclear bombs on Nagasaki & Hiroshima, that you aren't making a distinction, that won't stand up in the light of history...  or that WILL stand up in the light of history. The point is...   don't lose the war. That's all."

Two unrelated notes[to myself]:"The Mighty Sparrow" - a Trinidadian calypso singer(Slinger Francisco) became the MASTER of the naughty phrase[pidgin](from p.14 of "My American Journey" by Colin Powell)./Neal Stephenson's long-awaited book was inspired by his keraunothnetophobia.

[all these copious notes were intended to provide search terms for additional research; they exemplify the occasional 'goldmine' that our 'library privilege' brought me, in those 29 months of waiting]
